The story of Nauwigewauk Community Club, from its founding to today.

Our Story

A Place Where
Nature Endures

🍁

Nauwigewauk is located on Route 100 in Southern New Brunswick, Canada, nestled between the communities of Hampton and Quispamsis.

The original European settlers of Darlings Island and the surrounding area were drawn by its remarkable landscape — the rolling topography of the land, the waters of the Kennebecasis River, the Hammond River, and Darlings Lake.

"These natural elements remain the prime factor in attracting people to the area and sustaining their sense of place."

Today, the Club carries that tradition forward — maintaining the picnic shelter, the nature trail, and the many programmes that have united this community since 1948.
